The newest from Combi has arrived in the form of C-REX which is produced in Sweden ensuring consistent high quality and reduced environmental impact. The unique mechanical locking system makes mounting and dismounting teeth easier and safer with no need of a hammer.

The hammerless locking pin can be re-used throughout the lifetime of the system and the teeth have an integrated locking ring. Using a specifically designed tool allows for locking and unlocking with just moving the ring a quarter turn.

PAM Dek Deck Chipping

Concrete chipping has always been a difficult and tough job on your body leading to both fatigue and potential injury. This has been changed forever though with the PAM DEK concrete deck chipper which increases productivity and reducing injuries.

The Pam Dek mounts your 15 to 35 lb chipping hammer while supporting the weight entirely. It creates a better work posture to a more standing up position which reduces fatigue and and stress especially on the legs and lower back.

This setup allows you to amplify, redirect and use your own body weight for more efficient chipping. It also has a built in dust suppressant by spraying a fine layer of water to keep dust from going airborne.

The Black Cat Wear Parts Revolution series looked to eliminate all of the negatives of the resilient J series, while combining it with the proven and successful features and technology of the newer styles of teeth.
The nose and pocket have been changed to reduce stress on the pin, while increasing the strength and durability of the nose itself.

Offered in a number of different styles of tooth ranging from Loader teeth, Flare, Twin Tiger, etc.

The Revolution series is currently only offered in 350+ sizes for 20+ ton machines for the time being. The RV 550+ series have built in wear caps on both the top and the bottom of the tooth to help increase adapter life.

Most tooth systems are all going towards a hammerless locking system in order to increase safety and efficiency while reducing the likelihood of injury and harm to both the user and bystanders.

Canadian Mining Expo - Timmins, Ontario

The Canadian Mining Expo once again comes to Timmins Ontario for another edition of The BIG Event. Riddled with activities and events this show is sure to be a good one!

With highlights such as the Miners BBQ at 3 o’clock on Wednesday, Jack Drilling and Air Liquide Welding competitions along side hundreds of exhibitors and Demo’s throughout the weekend there is something for everyone!

Creighton Rock Drill will be at booth R5-04 this year with some Mining Products and GET Products for you to take a look at! Be sure to stop by!

AORS Trade Show - West Nippising, Ontario

The 2016 AORS Municipal Public Works Trade Show is hosted in West Nipissing Community and Recreation Centre, located at 219 O’Hara Street, Sturgeon Falls. Running from 8am to 3pm both June 1st and 2nd the show is bound to be busy with roughly 150 different exhibitors there.

Creighton Rock Drill will be in the Arena occupying booths 127 and 128 along with our friends at the Equipment Journal, so stop by to say hello and grab the newest edition of the industries favorite magazine while you’re there!

Demo Day

May 25 2016, Creighton Rock Drill partnered with Snow Brothers in Garth Snow’s shop in Erin Ontario to have a small demo showcasing the Oilquick Automatic Quick Coupler and a number of different attachments.
These attachments included a Drumcutter ER1500X, an excavator bucket along with a Hartl crusher and screener.

Martin Hartl of HARTL Crusher was in attendance at the Demo watching his machines crush and screen the rock into a few different piles with ease while providing some direction and advice on the machines to the very skilled operator who had little familiarity with the machines before the demo.

Customers who came out included employees from the companies; Aecon, Geosolv, Hard-Co,  J. Jenkins, Miller Paving  & RWC Contracting, also attending the demo were our friends Nathan Medcalf from Equipment Journal and Jethro Horca from the Supply Post.

This was the first of a number of different Demo Day’s which Creighton Rock Drill plans on doing in a variety of  locations, if you would like to learn more about these Demo Days and when/where they will be held make sure to be subscribed to our News Letter and keep checking back on our news page for updates!
