New for the 2016 edition of the Atlantic Heavy Equipment Show is an Exclusive Pre-registration Prize Showcase. Show visitors who pre-register by March 24, 2016 will receive a ballot for a chance to win a prize showcase valued at over $3,000.00. Prizes include: a Weber BBQ courtesy of Brandt; a plate compactor from Maritime Case Ltd.; and an iPad Mini + $500 credit for use at the online Liebherrshop, courtesy of Liebherr-Canada Ltd. Mincon has launched their newest down the hole hammer (DTH) range and it was put through extensive testing over the past year. The range consists of high performance DTH hammers that run standard shanks while also removing the foot valve which from a design standpoint was the weakest part of any DTH bit.

Not only did the engineers remove the foot valve but they were able to optimize energy use by doing so, resulting in a performance boost over the other models. The lack of foot valve and the optimized air flow and efficient exhaust allows the MQ range to drill more efficiently when water is encountered in the bore hole.

A ripper tooth/frost tooth offer significantly more resistance, longer duration, easier penetration and allows you better control of the machine resulting in optimum performance. Ripper teeth are perfectly designed for the initial break up of hard or densely packed material which includes frozen ground. The Gatorback Bit

The Gatorback from AmCana is ideal for environmental, water wells, mining and geothermal drilling. It is perfect for soft-medium and soft only formation such as overburden, shale, sand, tills and clay. The Gatorback bit runs most efficiently at a slow or medium speed which is beneficial to drilling equipment as it results in less stress and strain on the machine.  The bits have a longer lifespan than the conventional bits, which also do not require any lubrication in order to keep working as there are no bearings in the bit; with no moving parts it is less likely to leave clutter and pieces in the hole.
