Thornbury, Ontario, July 11, 2017: Breaker Technology (BTI), the world-leading manufacturer of rockbreaking technology, and Creighton Rock Drill Ltd., an industry-leading Eastern Ontario distributor of aggregate and mining equipment, announce their distribution partnership for BTI mining equipment in Ontario. BTI’s move to partner with Creighton Rock Drill Ltd. comes in an effort as both companies strive to improve their customer service and support in the mining industry.

Under the terms of the agreement, Creighton Rock Drill will sell capital equipment and parts, as well as service BTI underground mining vehicles, rockbreaker systems, and hydraulic breaker attachments from their location in Lively, Ontario.

“After 18 years of working with our good friends at BTI, having the chance to get more involved with them and their mining products was a great opportunity for us,” says Al Creighton, Senior Vice President of Creighton Rock Drill (CRD). “We’ve had a location in Lively now for over three years and are looking to grow our team with people that can understand our key values of service first as a way to promote sales. We will do that through attention to detail, local parts stocks for fast turnarounds on order fulfillment and by listening to our customers. It is important to us to build the BTI and CRD brands together as a symbol of quality and reliability in the mining sector. “

Creighton will be promoting BTI’s line of underground equipment including their extensive range of rockbreaker systems. BTI’s MRHLP model Rockbreaker System is a low-profile design for the underground mining environment. Additionally, BTI’s PB Series Rockbreaker Systems offers rockbreaking capabilities directly at the grizzly ore pass. All systems offer options for remote rockbreaker operation with BTI’s Breaker Intel system. Creighton Rock Drill will also be promoting BTI’s mining vehicles including its latest mechanical underground scaler, ScaleBOSS 3D/ 3DE, the Mine Runner Underground Utility Vehicle, RMS Scaler, Vibratory Pick Scaler and Hammer Feed Scaler.
