Welcome Steve Smith to the CRD Team!
It is with great pleasure that we welcome Mr. Steve Smith to our CRD family. Steve joins us with an impressive 25-year career background, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to our team.
Originally hailing from St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Steve’s journey in the industry began in 1998 with a John Deere dealership. Over the years, he has undertaken various roles, from parts shipper and receiver to salesperson for CCE products. His commitment and passion for the field led him to positions such as Product Support Technology Representative (PSTR) and Customer Support Advisor (CSA), where he excelled in monitoring machines and providing exceptional service.
Steve’s decision to join CRD comes after eight months as the Territory Manager for a Sany dealership in Newfoundland and Labrador. Despite his diverse experiences, he realized his heart lies in the parts and wear items side of the business, making him a perfect fit for our dynamic team.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Steve is a family man, finding joy in spending time with his wife Alana and their 15-year-old son Stephen. An avid outdoorsman, he revels in the tranquillity of hunting and fishing. As a die-hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan, he adds a touch of sports enthusiasm to our team – GLG!
Steve will be taking the helm in looking after Newfoundland sales, leveraging his extensive knowledge and relationships in the region. Additionally, as we eagerly anticipate the opening of our new branch, Steve’s role will be pivotal in ensuring its success. We’re confident that his wealth of experience will play a key role in the growth and prosperity of Creighton Rock Drill Ltd.
